Sustainable Spring Styles

Spring is fast approaching, which means that it's time to swap your winter wear out for some fresh spring styles! Going to secondhand stores and thrift stores is my favorite way to revamp my wardrobe, for the new season, without spending too much money. I recently took a trip to my local Plato's Closet and picked up some adorable items that are perfect for this upcoming season. I had so much fun styling these pieces and I hope they provide some spring outfit inspiration!

Outfit 1:

For this first look, I picked up this bright pink sweater for only $6! Spring is the perfect time to step outside of your usual color comfort zone and rock some super bright pieces! I also found this adorable mint green purse for just $10, which was originally from TopShop. The pastel green and classy pearl details make this purse the perfect addition to any spring look.

Outfit 2:

Although spring brings a little bit of warm weather, those chilly breezes may require you to do some layering. I picked up this white cardigan, that was originally from Hollister, for only $14 at Plato's Closet! I love how cozy and warm it is and it's perfect to throw on over any floral dress. A white cardigan is definitely a spring essential!

Outfit 3:

Can you guys believe that I thrifted everything in this outfit (except the purse) from Plato's Closet?! I got this cute graphic tee shirt for only $6 and then these green linen pants for $12! The earth tones and linen make this the perfect spring look. I topped it off with these Sam Edelman sandals that I also picked up for only $10. Lastly, I added a straw bag to complete this laidback spring look.

Outfit 4:

As the weather slowly warms up, jean skirts are a great addition to any wardrobe. Plus, the little details make it more interesting and unique compared to a typical jean skirt. For this look, I paired this studded jean skirt, that I found for  $6, with a white tee and a red bag to pull out the embroidery on the shirt.

I hope you guys can find some inspiration in these spring looks! Just remember that you don’t have to splurge on a new wardrobe every season! Thrifting is an affordable, sustainable, and fun way to revamp your wardrobe!
