Plato's Closet Haul
I had the chance to go to my local Plato’s Closet for a shopping haul! One thing that I love in particular about Plato’s Closet is that you can always find trendy items in there that are from relevant and popular brands. I also know that whatever I find in the store has been handpicked, to ensure the quality of the item. So when I go shopping at Plato’s Closet, I know I will always find amazing stuff!
For my first outfit, I found this cheetah shirt from Wild Fable for only $6 at Plato’s Closet. Paired with a black mini-skirt, I decided to wear a pair of slip-on, platform sneakers to make this outfit more casual so I was ready to run around town! For accessories, I stuck to warm, gold tones. I found some cute, minimalistic hoops during my shopping trip that were only $2. My triangular sunglasses were also a great find because the lenses paired perfectly with the geometric theme and they were only $5!
After finding this deep yellow, plaid skirt while shopping, I knew I needed to have it. It was marked at $10, and not to mention the versatility it serves! I decided to pair the skirt with an off-the-shoulder white crop top and left the accessories to a simple, gold butterfly set. Since this skirt has a side tie-knot, I decided to tomboy it up! For the shoes, I went with a classic pair of all white, high-top Chuck Taylor’s!
For the next outfit, I took a distressed denim mini-skirt and paired it with a black baby-doll shirt (originally from Fashion Nova, but at Plato’s Closet for $7). This shirt has functional ties in the front that allow you to adjust the tightness, depending on how much skin you would like to show. I kept the jewelry to a minimum but accentuated my waist with this statement cheetah belt. This was also a find at Plato’s Closet marked at $6. Due to the nature of the distressed skirt feeling more casual, I wore basic leather sandals.
Last, but not least, I continued the trend of the mini-skirt with this vintage-looking, denim skirt. I played more on the feminine side by pairing it with this pink, off-the-shoulder crop top. Both of these pieces were found at Plato’s Closet, the skirt (originally from Express) for $8, and the top for only $5. For the accessories, I wore a single strand of pearls and matching heart-shaped pearl earrings. I can imagine wearing this outfit to a brunch or nice lunch, so I figured it would be cute to wear these nude, open-toed heels.
