Canton, MI - Plato's Closet of Canton, just like any business, wants to make sure its customers are happy. What makes Plato's Closet different is its “Tell Us Your Story” campaign, which was launched so that local teens and twenty-somethings can make their voices heard.

“With such television shows as Project Runway and America's Next Top Model growing in popularity, we recognize that the young people of this community have their fingers on the pulse of the fashion industry,” said Paul Wells of Plato's Closet of Canton. “We want to hear about their experiences with our store, so that we can tailor our assortment of styles and service to better meet their needs.”

As part of the campaign, Wells is asking local shoppers to share their opinions. All customers have to do is visit the Plato's Closet Web site at www.platoscloset.com and click on the “Tell Us Your Story” icon.

In addition to adding their own story, shoppers can also view other submissions from teens and twenty somethings across the nation. There's also the option to post a corresponding picture of a favorite Plato's Closet outfit.

“We love reading our shoppers' input. And, this campaign is an advantageous tool for the success of our business. It really gives us a better sense of the types of items and brands they like to find in our store,” added Wells. “The pictures are so great to see, too! They're a testimonial of the high quality and style of our clothes and accessories that our customers enjoy wearing.”

Just this past summer, the campaign was expanded to include television commercials that feature actual customers and store employees remarking on their Plato's Closet experience. Shoppers can view the testimonials on the company's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/platoscloset

“The teens and twenty somethings of this area are the face and voice of Plato's Closet of Canton,” said Wells. “They are a community in and of themselves, and this campaign is our way of letting them know just how much we value their feedback.”

Plato's Closet of Canton buys and sells gently used, name brand clothing, as well as accessories and other teen items. Some of the favorite brands typically carried at Plato's Closet include American Eagle, Bebe, Express, Mossimo and H&M.
