Whitney Port to judge reality show in the U.K.

Former reality TV star-turned-fashion designer Whitney Port is headed back to her roots.

The 26-year-old Whitney Eve designer will return to television, this time as a judge for Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model program.

"I am so excited to be joining Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model," Port said in a statement. "I'm a huge fan of the show and am honored to be in the company of the talented fellow judges and host, all fashion figures and designers I admire. As a designer and someone who loves fashion, this is a role I'm really looking forward to."

Port will replace British stylist Grace Woodward on the upcoming season of the reality competition, slated to be seen on Sky Living this summer.

She will join the show's executive producer, model Elle Macpherson, along with British fashion designer Julien Macdonald and American model Tyson Beckford.

"It was incredibly important for us when considering who we should hire, that the individuals chosen brought with them personal experience and success which would perfectly complement the show's aspirations and style," Macpherson said.

Along with fashionistas, many celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Heidi Klum, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Nicky Hilton and Isla Fisher are fans of Port's designs.

Anyone who wants to emulate Port's style or designs on a budget may consider shopping for used clothing at secondhand and consignment stores.
