Hollywood A-listers want Beckham gowns for the Oscars
With the Academy Awards show just weeks away, celebrities and their stylists are scrambling to choose the perfect gown for the big night. But one celebrity designer is being sought out by several big name stars to create gowns for their Oscar appearances.According to the Daily Mail, British pop singer-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham (formerly known as Posh Spice) has received requests from Gwyneth Paltrow, Charlize Theron and Cameron Diaz for dresses, and is reportedly working around the clock to keep up with demand.
"We do have requests in from stylists for the Oscars, but as our team is so small we don't have the opportunity to custom make dresses like the bigger fashion houses," a spokesman for Victoria Beckham told MailOnline.
While Beckham and her team will do their best to make these celebrities look great on the big night, they won't know their designs will be chosen until the day of the Oscars.
Best actress nominee Michelle Williams already chose a Victoria Beckham dress for an Oscar luncheon earlier this month.
